Helicopter Proposal in Hinton, Alberta


I met Yelaina and Dan on the day of their heli-proposal. Dan had inquired with Jasper Hinton Air looking for a local photographer so he could propose on the first day of their trip to Canada from Australia.


These two landed in Edmonton, rented a vehicle, and headed our way to Hinton. We boarded our flight with the understanding that I was just another passenger, here to take some photos for Jasper Hinton Air's website, and Hinton's Tourism pages.

Our pilot gave us a tour of the mountain ranges near Hinton, and due to windy conditions, decided to land at beautiful Brule Lake. We let Yelaina and Dan explore the area, and Dan went down on one knee and asked Yelaina to marry him.


She said yes!

Our lovebirds popped some champagne and we celebrated a first day of vacation well spent.
